Location: Room 370B Scott

Inverted microscope built around an Olympus IX-71 body on a vibration isolation table. It includes a PlanApo 100x N.A.1.45 objective, a 1 Mpixel back-illuminated EMCCD camera (Andor) for ultrasensitive imaging, and four laser lines: 405, 473, 561 and 640 nm. These lines can be used simultaneously and controlled through high-speed shutters (0.5 ms). The 561 and 640 nm lines provide 150 mW for superresolution imaging. Both andor IQ imaging software and Nikon NIS Elements are available. The microscope is equipped with CRISP autofocus system (ASI), piezoelectric stage control (Mad City Labs), stage heating (Bioptechs), and a perfusion system for live cell imaging.
